Drawing in Parabuild: how does this work?
After installing the software the user can start the program by clicking the new icon
on the desktop. AutoCAD and Parabuild start simultaneously.
The user starts the project by first drawing the 3D wireframe, which resembles the
structure of the project. On the lines of this wireframe all the profiles are drawn
with a few mouse-clicks. The connections between these beams and columns are made with
one of the many available automatic connection routines. If necessary, smaller/specific
adjustements are being made with the base routines: Draw bolt row/drill, saw/cutting
and welding. While drawing the project, the user can always perform a clash control or
generate a bill of materials of the elements already drawn.
When the 3D drawing is finished, the bill of materials and the workshopdrawings can be
generated. With numerous options to choose from, you can adjust the way the
workshopdrawings are dimensioned and look.
After generating the workshopdrawings it is possible to show each drawing on the screen
one by one, and automatically send them all to the printer.
