Drawing the 3D-Model

Parabuild is a program the draftsman uses to completely draw the project as a 3D Model.. Before cutting, drilling and welding the project, it is first built virtually. Because the user draws a virtual prototype on the computer, a lot of problems will be visible and can be solved while drawing. For example the software warns the user when two profiles or plates are clashing. Or, if a bolt doesn't have enough clearance.

Each profile and each plate is already being built and fitted virtually, which guarantees the project will fit when erecting.

3D-Model: a lot of work?

It may seem a big task to completely draw the 3D-Model, but this is solved by the functionality in Parabuild that makes the drawing process fast: quickly draw base-profiles, automatic connections, cutting and drilling.

Getting information out of the 3D-Model

Once the 3D-Model is finished, you can get a lot of information out of it, fully automated. With a few mouseclicks you can request the following information:
  • Bills of materials: ordering-lists, sawlists, boltlists, ...
  • The workshopdrawings (drawings for cutting, drilling and welding) are generated automatically.
  • 2D-views of the 3D-model are easily made and also 3D-views with automatic captionning of all element-numbers as an erection overview.
All the information needed for these instructions is found in the 3D-model.
