- Open the drawing |

- Click on the icon |
|
- Select the beam indicated on the illustration |
|
- Double-click the connection UPN Endplate to plane |
|
- Move the cursor to above the grey plane of the plate that represents a wall. Then click the left mouse button twice to select the plane underneath. The circumference of the plane underneath is drawn thicker. |
|
- Press <Enter> to end the command |
|
- Modify the edge distances for the endplate to 0, 0, 0 and 80 |

- Double-click on the connection UPN Endplate to point |
|
- Move the cursor to above the endpoint of the purple helper line. |
|
Modify the edge distances for the endplate : |

- Modify the Angle in X direction to 20 |
|

- Start the AutoCAD/BricsCAD command |
|
- Select the purple line |
|
- Indicate the endpoint of the line as reference point |
|
- Move the cursor to the right to indicate the direction we want to move the line to |
|
If you would not want the connection between the line and endplate in a given situation then you can delete the macro sphere. |

This allows you to take a measurement or to modify other elements without having to close and reopen this window. |
