Command - Prb_CutToPlane

     
This command allows us to quickly extend or shorten a profile against any planar surface.
You can select a planar surface of most Parabuild objects and also some AutoCAD/BricsCAD objects : plates, profile, structures, volumes, plane objects, and polylines.

This command gives you full control over the depth of the new cut, whereas other commands such as Cut against a part will automatically choose a face for you, and that command always chooses the web of an I-profile for example.

The longest side of the profile will be kept.

The command draws a new macro that defines the cut, and it does not ask the offset during the command because you can modify this offset at any time by double-clicking this macro.

The default offset that this command uses for all new cuts is set in the Global settings under the Distances category, the setting is called Standard tolerance for cutting.

The same capability is also available from the Add Cut to Macro command, and this command is simply a faster way to access this flexible tool.
